Lot Terms

General Terms

All pipe is sold Ex-Works Pipe Mill per INCOTERMS 2020.

Loading: STUPP will pyramid load Buyer’s trucks at no charge. STUPP will strip load Buyer’s trucks for $75.00/truckload. Buyer’s trucks must provide loading supplies: dunnage (4x4’s, 2x4's), stripping, choks and hammer/nails. STUPP will not load trailers with pipe stakes or wanting to use chains for tie-downs. Trucks with pipe stakes must remove them prior to check-in for STUPP to load.

Approved Transportation Companies: IMPORTANT, Buyer is required to contract their transportation company from STUPP’s approved carrier companies list, or contract STUPP logistics.

Buyer’s contracted truck drivers must provide Pipe Market Material Release to STUPP, at time of pickup.

Buyer’s contracted transportation company must contact the storage contact prior to removal – all removal must be scheduled in advance. The storage contact’s phone, email and physical address will be stated on the Pipe Market Material Release. Loading on any scheduled loadout is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Storage yard hours of operation: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Trucks must check-in by 2:00 PM to be loaded same day, the earliest loading appointment is 7:00 AM.

PPE: All visitors, whether for pickup or inspection, must be wearing mask, hard hat, steel toes, long pants and reflective vest. Truck drivers must stay in their trucks after checking in.

STUPP Storage Fees

STUPP storage is at no charge up to 90 calendar days from Pipe Market invoice date. After 90 calendar days from Pipe Market invoice date Buyer will be charged $10.00/Net Ton per month. NOTE: If Buyer contracts STUPP Coatings to coat pipe, storage for pipe to be coated is at no charge up to 180 calendar days from Pipe Market invoice date.

STUPP Logistics, Cutting & Coating Services

Buyers can contract STUPP to cut line pipe. Buyers are not permitted to cut line pipe on STUPP property. STUPP square cut fee is $105.00/cut. STUPP beveling fee is $105.00/bevel.

Buyers can contract STUPP to truck or rail pipe. Interested Buyers should email Nathan Sowell (nsowell@stupp.com) for quotes. If shipped via rail, all rail cars will be ordered by STUPP. Rail shipping capacity is 25 pieces for 80.0’ lengths, 50 pieces for 40.0’ lengths. STUPP rail car loading fee is $1,540.00/rail car.

Buyers can contract STUPP Coatings to coat pipe. Interested Buyers should email Quentin Wiltz (qwiltz@stupp.com). Standard Fusion Bond Epoxy (FBE) for corrosion resistance, 14-16 mils, fee is $6.50/LF. Other coating types, including ARO are available.

All pipe is sold As-Is, Where-Is.

All winning Buyers will be invoiced at time of Seller award.

Payment: Wire transfer within 3 business days from invoice date.

Buyer’s Premium: 10% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the purchase price as bid.

Claim Period: Buyer’s must communicate discrepancies to support@pipemarket.com in writing within 14 calendar days from the removal date or removal deadline, whichever occurs first. Buyer’s need to reference the Pipe Market Lot #, STUPP references and provide documentation to support the claim (e.g. digital pictures, certified weight tickets).
