Lot Terms

Removal Deadline: removal must be completed within 21 calendar days from Pipe Market invoice date.

Pipe is stored at a remote yard, there is no equipment and personnel to load. Buyer must contract a Murphy Oil approved contractor to load out. All loading costs are to be paid by the buyer to the contractor prior to loading. Loading must be scheduled directly with the contractor. Buyers are encouraged to contact the 2 contractors below to confirm loading estimates prior to bidding. Murphy Oil approved contractors: SI Oilfield: 250-784-5533 Pavlis: 250-719-9148. There will also need to be a Murphy employee on-site for any site visits and when this equipment is being removed. Buyer will need to coordinate with both loadout contractor and Mike Kimble to schedule the loadout date to ensure a Murphy Rep is present.

TAX:
5% GST required on all sales unless pipe is exported out of Canada. Proof of exportation is required. All sales will be charged 5% GST at time of invoice. A refund is available upon proof of exportation. Buyer has 30 days from invoice to provide proof of exportation or Pipe Market will determine sale is domestic and remit GST. No future proof will constitute a refund from Pipe Market. Buyer may apply for the GST rebate using Form GST189, General Application for Rebate of GST/HST, and Form GST288, Supplement to Forms GST189 and GST498.

7% PST required on all sales unless the pipe is being purchased solely for resale purposes. If the Buyer is reselling the pipe the buyer will be required to review and sign the following tax document Certificate of Exemption B.C. Once the Certificate of Exemption is signed the 7% PST will not be added to the invoice. If the Buyer will not be reselling the pipe, a 7% PST will be added to the invoice. 

PPE: All visitors, whether for pickup or inspection, FRC, reflective vest, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and steel toes. No Hoodies or facial hair allowed.

General Terms

All pipe is sold As-Is, Where-Is.

All winning Buyers will be invoiced at time of Seller award.

Payment: Wire transfer within 3 business days from invoice date.

Buyer’s Premium: 10% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the purchase price as bid.

Claim Period: Buyer’s must communicate discrepancies to support@pipemarket.com in writing within 2 business days from the removal date or removal deadline, whichever occurs first. Buyer’s need to reference the Pipe Market Lot # and provide documentation to support the claim (e.g. digital pictures, certified weight tickets). All variance claims will be based solely on theoretical weight.
